๐ถ Well Done to Our Amazing Musicians! ๐ถ
We are incredibly proud of all the pupils who performed at Kirkby's Live and Unplugged. Their confidence, commitment and musical talent shone through in every performance, and they represented our school brilliantly.
It was wonderful to see the hard work and dedication of our young musicians on display. You should all be very proud of yourselves โ we certainly are!
๐ A huge congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for sharing your talents with us. ๐

๐ฝ๐ Festa Junina Fun at School! ๐๐ฝ
What a fantastic day we had celebrating Festa Junina, organised brilliantly by our Year 5 pupils! The whole school came together to enjoy a day full of colour, music, and joy while learning about this vibrant cultural celebration.
From lively dances and traditional games to delicious treats, every child had the chance to take part and experience something new. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, laughter, and teamwork throughout the day. ๐
At the heart of our celebration was a focus on kindnessโwhether it was helping each other learn new dances, sharing food, or encouraging friends to join in. Our Year 5 children did an amazing job leading the activities and helping younger pupils feel included and confident.
A huge well done to Year 5 for organising such a memorable event, and thank you to all our staff and families for supporting this special day. ๐
Celebrating culture, building kindness, and making memories togetherโwhat a wonderful way to learn!

๐ A Wonderful week of Learning Experiences! ๐
Itโs been a fantastic week of trips across our school, with pupils exploring and learning beyond the classroom!
๐ก๏ธ Year 5 travelled to Murton Park, where they stepped back in time to experience Anglo-Saxon life. The children fully immersed themselves in history, taking part in hands-on activities and learning what daily life would have been like hundreds of years ago.
๐ผ Year 1 enjoyed a beautiful visit to Helmsley Walled Garden, where they focused on mindfulness and map reading. They explored the gardens, practised their navigation skills, and took time to enjoy the calm, natural surroundings.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their kindness, curiosity and excellent behaviourโthey truly represented our school so well! ๐
